			IT IS WITH GREAT PLEASURE that I welcome you to the 12th annual European Union Film Festival in Vancouver. Sweden, the current holder of the presidency of the EU, and Embassies, Consulates and Cultural Institutes of the member states of the European Union are pleased to invite you to experience this unique cultural event.

It has been especially rewarding to see how Vancouver audiences have embraced contemporary European cinema through the EUFF's 12-year history — and this year's festival, as in the past, will be sure to please with another selection of notable, acclaimed, and award-winning films.
